In observance of the upcoming Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 7, 2026, EDCO will not perform residential curbside collection services. As a result, residential curbside collection will be delayed by one day all week following the holiday in El Segundo, Lakewood, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Signal Hill.
In El Segundo and Rancho Palos Verdes, commercial customers will experience a one-day delay all week.
In Lakewood and Signal Hill, only residential curbside customers will experience a one-day delay in collection. Lakewood and Signal Hill’s commercial businesses’ waste and recycling collection services will remain unaffected by the holiday and will be provided on the regularly scheduled service day. EDCO’s public disposal site will also remain open on Monday, September 7th.
